Default The bigger the back..The bigger the front..

I've gone for a big band Chicago feel in this one.
Also started learning a bit of Piano which makes it a bit less like Status Quo.

    Default Art

Thanks for the guts to post your art for your peers to enjoy, praise... or criticize (not that we're a vicious group...but yer puttin your art out there for who knows what kinda reaction, eh?). Anyway, it's a nice pulsing intro...great bass tone. The thumb's menacing underneath the spoken warning. Then piana and electric slide, drums over that thumpin thumb.

"Psychic damage, protect yourselves"...suburban Blues, eh? The irony of smart lyrics with down home Blues is engaging, so amusing.

Your vocal style works really well...it's a slightly raw tone with just enough melodic range to make it true singing but to keep it close to the talkin Blues tradition...nice balance. And the call & response ending cleverly uses the old Gospel-Work-Song technique to universalize your theme.

So I'm in with Kerry...love it!

    Nice one BluesHawk.
If the critics could be bought, you'd be first on the payroll.
    Thanks
