I'll have my drink in hand and just give cold stares at my guitar from across the room and say out loud, "this could be you in my hand but you wanted to suck so now you just sit over there and think about that for awhile".---------sam_in_cali

Wow, there's a beauty. And you built this. That's huge skills. I bet it sounds amazing, though I'm not too familiar with the sound of 1/4 pounders; I know SD makes top quality pups and those I have played were "robust" in the best sense.

And you got your Marshall back! Tell us that story...many of us need the hope

Love your choice of the Seafoam and, with full respect for your taste, heltershelton, my own taste can't help but imagine a tortoiseshell pickguard bringin the Maple shades down from the neck and onto the body a bit.

    Congratulations!

well, "built" is probably not the right word. all the holes were pre drilled.....everything was pre routed......i just bought the parts and put the thing together. no skills here, bro.
concerning tort pickguards.......no....just...no. not my thing. i hate tort. i saw a pic of a 52 tele and loved it, so i copied.
and the marshall? i bought that back in 93 because i was forming a new all original band (i was in my 20s) and needed something better than the pos peavy ss amp i had at the time.
long story short......after playing original rock n roll and living like motley crue and doing motley crue stuff i .....get this.....got in trouble with the law. so i had to leave atlanta. i needed money so i sold the cab and told my singer to please hang on to that head. he did, and after all these years i got it back. here is a vid from back in my wild days....
