Default Recommend an amp for these criteria...?

I'm helping my god-son select a new amp to meet these criteria. Any suggestions?

-enough volume for jams or small gigs with drummer, bass, vocals
-playing mostly classic rock, blues rock. ideally a good dirty tone but also a nice clean to use with pedals.
-must have FX loop for pedals i already own
    -reverb would be nice

    Thanks,

    Doug

    Hi Doug,
I think the Orange Crush 35RT - 35-watt 1x10" Combo Amp might be a good choice for your God-son and at $259 it's not crazy expensive. Here's a link to it at Sweetwater:

It looks like it has everything you want. Have fun!

sweetwater has this all tube, 2 channel 40 watt for a damn good deal. it has reverb and an effects loop. and you can cut it down to 20 watts. has a footswitch too.

I'll have my drink in hand and just give cold stares at my guitar from across the room and say out loud, "this could be you in my hand but you wanted to suck so now you just sit over there and think about that for awhile".---------sam_in_cali

    Tech 21 trademark amps
Analog that sounds like tubes, various fender settings that are spot in vintage fender amps including the sparkle
Will do pretty good srv sound, has a marshall channel not quite as good.
Has a loop effects, good verb and s boost for solos.
You certainly can use pedals but you wont need most except delay or wah.
Been using tech 22 for years and highly recommend them. Bte, i am an old tube amp guy, but the tech stuff is great

By the way, the tech 21 british pedal pretty much nails(to my ear) a jcm 800, jmp, and a plexi
