    Default Another New Old Guy

    Hello to all,
I am 70 years old, retired and have been a blues fan before I knew the term Blues. I play the blues harp and have just started my own YouTube channel. Glad to find a blues forum.

You can type in the channel name in the YouTube search box, Rdrokit Power or here is a link to it. It's all Rock/Blues or as I call it Roadhouse music. Let me know what you think and if you like it please subscribe. Only been up a week or so. I try to upload a couple songs daily and a new playlist weekly.

Welcome Rodrokit. I wanna listen but I'm a bit shy of registering for things I'm not familiar with. Glad you're here.

It's very interesting! I like some of the songs/music, not all of them of course, but that's normal. Just great to see and feel someone else's taste for the "road music" (love the idea/name! appeals to me), it's alive - like the music itself.

If you'd like, here are some of my, some of them possibly special, ideas (blues or road music) that you may like - if you wish to try of course:

    SashaS,
Thank you so much for the links. I liked all your picks even the Russian Blues. Some of my favorite bands are the Stones and the Doors. Being an old man I saw the Doors in 1965 at a dive in Venice California for a $5.00 cover charge. Was also at Monterey Pop in 68 and saw Janice, Jimmy, Canned Heat, The Who, the Animals and more. Those were the good time days.
The individual songs I upload are not found anywhere else on Youtube and I try to upload bands that are not mainstream. The playlists I put together are songs that are already on YouTube but are in my library. I think the next playlist I put out will all be songs by members of the Stones as Mick, Ronnie, Kieth and Charlie all have their own band. All are rock/blues except Charlie who has a Jazz band.

I envy you a bit, in a good way of course! I couldn't see all that as I was born right after that was happening. But I've been a fan for decades nevertheless, especially of the Doors and Hendrix.

That is really good, non-mainstream is usually more interesting to explore, at least to me.

I'd love that. I'm kind of re-discovering the Stones these days/last couple of years, so that would be very special to me. I've heard some of the contemporary stuff from Mick and Keith (fun fact: I drive close by his house every day on the way to work) but not that much. Please let us know here when you create that new playlist? though I'll probably subscribe anyway but I don't check on my YT subscriptions that often.
