    Default Reignwolf, anybody?

    Is it Blues?
    I think so.
I wouldn't be surprised if this is what Robert Johnson or Skip James would do if they were born in 1990...

That is just awesome! And I keep hearing that the guitar is dead, no young players coming up.

Whew, he's a one-man Black Keys! Nice control. Soulful vocals. Bass drum and guitar percussion.

Charlie, I agree this is what Robert Johnson would be doin, something like this. Here in Hot 'lanta:

The man is a force of nature.
I'm definitely inspired by him in ways that I'm not by The White Stripes and Black Keys.
I think this guy is the intersection of Robert Johnson and Hendrix.
Not to imbue him with Hendrix-like status, but his use of the loud/cranked electric guitar is for a real REASON...not just gratuitous volume. It's not easy to control a dimed amp like that.
I no longer have the energy to do what he does, but I definitely feel a new influence...
I'm already working on trying to get some of that energy into some new songs I'm working on.
And I just found that amazing about-to-explode guitar sound in this...
