Default Jim Campilongo Trio...see their telepathy

Jim Campilongo Trio is the cat's meow. Add Nels Cline and lookout. I daresay this may be the most intense telepathy in Blues Rock...Jim changes key in the middle of "Politician" and everyone just follows right along.

BTW, that bass is a 1969 Fender Mustang short-scale. Listen patiently and you will be amazed...

    Cool!
And I love it when drummers sing.
There's always something a little different about their approach.
There's a GREAT bass player around here who plays a short-scale Mustang with the frets removed. He KILLS on it.
And...this may be unpopular, but...Campilongo is so known as the guy with the Tele who wrings those killer tones from a Princeton Reverb.
    Frankly...I wish he'd get a new amp.
To me, Princetons sound like they are...small.
Although...I have one with a secret mod that I'm sworn to secrecy about, that turns my Princeton into a fire-breathing monster that can kill grass.
