Thumbs up Blues Jam in Chicago - Fleetwood Mac

Been listening to "Blues Jam in Chicago", both volumes available on Spotify - haven't checked other sources. Lots of fun those guys had back in '69 - great to hear different takes and conversations, live jamming, and inspires me to play more too!

Here's one of the tracks I just fell in love with from the first "sight".

Good to know people are still enjoying the original Fleetwood Mac!
They were one of the great blues groups of their day. I do listen to Spotify a lot but I felt just had to own this stuff so I finished up buying their 6 or 7 CDs from that period '68-'70. Talk With You was a Danny Kirwan composition and he did the vocal on the recording. Peter Green was always happy to not be the front man and DK was a very good player. Keep enjoying!

Speakin for me too, Pstaffs. They stand right next to The Bluesbreakers, not one step behind. Thanks Sasha for turnin us on to this set. BTW their Shrine 69 album is great, along these lines, tuning & banter.

Back in '69 I was 17 years old and born and raised in Chicago but I never heard the original Fleetwood Mac. I had no idea they were into the Blues. I have to catch up and find more of their original sets. Thanks for posting Sasha.

Hey, Marky, check out Mac's 'Rattlesnake Shake" performed live on Playboy TV with dorky Hugh Hefner introducing "The? Fleetwood Mac".

Hey thanks BluesHawk. They had a really great sound I didn't know about. There's a link to 50+ FM Blues Band videos on the YouTube that you posted so I'll be busy. Thanks again.

There are many who think that Peter Green was the best White Blues player ever.
Time to get to work and figure out where you stand on this one!!

As the new kids say - OMG, BluesHawk. Love the videos, especially the 2nd one! The only bad thing I feel like I HAVE to play now - and I'm in the office.
    THANK YOU!
