    Default Christian blues?

Anyone know of any good Christian blues bands that I may not have heard/heard of?

    I am familiar with:

Sleepy Ray & The Mighty Blood
    Glenn Kaiser
    Glenn Kaiser Band
    Larry Norman
    Larry Howard
    Q Stone
    Raging Grace
    Darrell Mansfield
    Eric Turner
    The Righteous Blues Band
    Tim Crahart Band
    Cornerstone

Is there anything out there I am missing? Some good southern rock would also be right up my alley.

I think of it more in the terms of Christian songs. And the difference between those and secular songs are the lyrics.

Pops Staples has some great tunes-with and without his family. I strongly suggest you check 'em out.

The Blind Boys have some good arrangements.

And it don't get no better than Blind Willie Johnson...he was a magnificent slide guitarist.

Greg Martin's project, The Mighty Jeremiahs is an incredible album.
It rivals anything ever done in the Christian Blues genre. Jimmy Hall is on vocals.
    A desert-island album for me.

All very nice suggestions above. Something a bit modern from a guy who straightened his life out from various substances.

Here's one that's a bit more funky. The Relatives were a band out of Fort Worth in the 1970's-good but obscure-and they called it quits by 1980. A record producer found some old tapes and tracked 'em down in 2009. They reunited and recorded some new music with Jim Eno (Spoon) and all of a sudden they were the best thing since sliced bread. Their founder Rev. Gean West died in 2015. Moral of the story? Never stop playing!

I'm interested in Christian blues as well. I know of christianblues.net. It's mainly a Facebook page I guess. I think the majority of most known bluesman we know were christian from my studies ages ago. Though they don't genre it as Christian.
